The Forest Workshop was built on a virgin forest plot on the shore of Lake Päijänne. It is a combined building with a workshop, a hut, a technical space and a log storage. It is the first building of a planned cottage complex.
The top priority of the design was maintaining the unique atmosphere of the beautiful natural site. The wooden grille on the covered terrace creates a sheltered space where the forest is present.
The corner window was made by Pinocchio, a carpenter’s shop.
