The Empire-style main building of Moisio Manor in Elimäki, Kouvola, was designed in 1820 by Carl Ludvig Engel, a central figure in the history of Finnish architecture. The two-storey brick building is reportedly the first manor house he designed in Finland. The main building is one of the oldest preserved manor houses in the Northern Kymenlaakso region.

Moisio Manor has a rich history beginning in the 17th century and its historical value is widely recognized. Moisio is listed and strongly protected. This building history report has been prepared to support restoration planning.
